To overcome this, treatment is needed with the application of honey as part of the Moist Wound Healing method. Moist Wound Healing is a wound care method with moist principles that can support cells in the wound healing process. Objective: to see the effectiveness of honey in the Application of Wound Care Procedures Using the Moist Wound Healing Method in Diabetic Leg Ulcer Cases. Method: case study design with descriptive design. Respondents consisted of 2 people who had met the criteria of the researcher. Results: there was a decrease in the REEDA score (Redness, Edema, Ecchymosis, Discharge, Approximation) of respondent 1 from the score (5) to (2), respondent 2 from the score (5) to (2), with an average decrease of 66%. With the state of the ulcer, there is no odor, or exudate, as well as the presence of tissue granulation. Conclusion: the moist wound healing method with honey is effectively used in the treatment of diabetic ulcers.

Keywords: Diabetic Leg Ulcer, Wound Care, REEDA, Moist Wound Healing
2023-12-31T17:39:11+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://www.jurnalpoltekkesmaluku.com/index.php/JKIT/article/view/504THE ROLE OF EDUCATION LEVEL IN INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE AMONG PREGNANT WOMEN IN RURAL INDONESIA2023-12-31T17:53:51+07:00Agung Dwi Laksonoagung.dwi.laksono@brin.go.idRatna Dwi Wulandariratna-d-w@fkm.unair.ac.idRatu Matahariratu.matahari@ikm.uad.ac.id
Background: Pregnancy is a physically and psychologically vulnerable period, and women with lower education tend to be more psychologically vulnerable. Objective: The study analyzes the role of education in intimate partner violence among pregnant women in rural Indonesia. Methods: The cross-sectional study uses secondary data from the 2017 Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey. The study employed 1,337 pregnant women who had partners in rural Indonesia. Apart from intimate partner violence as the dependent variable, this study involves education, age, marital, employment, wealth, parity, owning a house, and recent sexual activity as the independent variable. In the final stage, the author calculated the role using multivariable binary logistic regression. Results: The results show pregnant women with the education level in the no education category had 2.479 times the possibility of pregnant women with a higher education level experiencing intimate partner violence (AOR 2.479; 95% CI 1.158-5.305). Pregnant women with a primary education level have 1.650 times greater odds than those with a higher education level of experiencing intimate partner violence (AOR 1.650; 95% CI 1.059-2.571). On the other hand, pregnant women with a secondary education level have 1.682 times greater odds of experiencing intimate partner violence than those with a higher education level (AOR 1.682; 95% CI 1.094-2.585). Apart from education level, wealth status and the variable of owning a house are related to intimate partner violence among pregnant women in rural Indonesia. Conclusion: The study concluded that education level has a role in intimate partner violence in rural Indonesia.
2023-12-29T13:28:20+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://www.jurnalpoltekkesmaluku.com/index.php/JKIT/article/view/508TINGKAT KONSUMSI DAN STATUS GIZI BALITA 12-36 BULAN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS NANIA2023-12-31T17:53:52+07:00Santi Aprilian Lestaluhusantiaprilian09@gmail.comCandriani Candrianicandriani@gmail.com

Background: Lack of consumption of macronutrients such as energy, protein and micronutrients such as iron, zinc, calcium and vitamin A, especially during the growth period, will disrupt a child's growth process, resulting in stunting. Objective: To determine the description of the consumption level of toddlers and the nutritional status of toddlers aged 12-36 years in the Nania Community Health Center working area. Method: This type of research is descriptive, namely: to determine the description of consumption levels for toddlers aged 12-36 months in the Nania Community Health Center Working Area.
