Abstract

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in the world can cause at least 70% death. Efforts to control NCDs require support from the government, private sector, professional organizations, and all communities. Reducing NCD cases requires a control program in the form of early detection and treatment of the disease. However, people are lazy to do health checks because health service facilities are far away or the cost of examination and treatment is expensive. This is the basis for the community service program of the Tual Nursing Study Program in collaboration with the Kolser Health Center, Southeast Maluku. This community service aims to make health development efforts, especially in terms of controlling and eradicating non-communicable diseases and knowing the levels of uric acid, cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure of the Ohoi Dunwahan Village Community. Community service was carried out on Friday, November 8, 2024 at the Ohoi Dunwahan village hall, Kei Kecil District, Southeast Maluku. This activity includes free health checks and treatment. The activity was attended by 46 participants, where the activity went smoothly and the enthusiasm of the community was also very high.
