As they age, around 92% of seniors have at least 1 chronic disease and 77% have at least two or more health problems such as physical weakness, decreased self-care, risk of falls, inability to perform household tasks. Apart from physical changes, elderly people will also experience psychosocial changes such as sleep disorders, anxiety, depression. This change will affect his health condition. Health education is one way that can provide change or increase knowledge so that elderly people can maintain their health until they reach old age. Group Activity Therapy (TAK) is a very important therapeutic modality to implement because it will help elderly people relate to each other, can eliminate feelings of sadness, depression, lack of enthusiasm, worthlessness and hopelessness. The aim of Group Activity Therapy using music for the elderly is to provide therapy to all group members to stimulate memory, problem-solving abilities, and build social relationships with other people, as well as reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, reduce muscle tension. , lowers blood pressure, provides positive changes in the mood of the elderly, and improves the cognitive abilities of the elderly.
